Weapon Combining

It is possible to combine type A Weapons (Vampire,Wind and so on) and type B Weapons (Intense) to form a type C weapon with the characteristics of both weapons. To do this take your two weapons to the Hero NPC along with a complete Excelsior and place them into the Item Combination window.

• Combining will not always be sucessfull, and a fee of 100,000 race currency is required for the attempt.
• Currently you can only combine weapons of level 30 to 50.
• Different Excelsiors are required depending on the item level you wish to combine
• Different Excelsior colors are required for different types of weapons.
• The number of slots on a sucessfully combined item is random.

Excelsior Requirements

Melee Weapons: Black Excelsior Staff Weapons: Blue Excelsior (Cross)Bow Weapons: Green Excelsior Fire Arm Weapons: Red Excelsior Launcher Weapons: Yellow Excelsior

Level 30-35: Grade 'A' Excelsior Level 40: Grade 'B' Excelsior level 45: Grade 'C' Excelsior

Excelsior Combining

Exclesiors come in 3 different grades, 'A' 'B' and 'C'. They are used in Weapon Combining, and the crafting of Elite Force Reavers.

To make a complete excelsior, take the materials for one of the listed recipes below (remember the color of excelsior peices you use will produce a complete excelsior of the same color) to the Hero NPC. Using the Item Combination system, place the materials into the window and combine assuming the combining doesnt fail, you will receive one complete excelsior. Please note, a 100k fee is taken on each attempt, successfull or not.

10 Peices	+	5 Catalyst	+	2 Catalyst	=	Excelsior
Grade B Excelsior
15 Peices	+	12 Catalyst	+	5 Catalyst	=	Excelsior
Grade C Excelsior
30 Peices	+	20 Catalyst	+	10 Catalyst	=	Excelsior

Blue Stone Combining

Blue Stones are obtained from Ore Processing and are untradable. They allow you to turn lower grade gems into higher grade gems. However due to the costs involved and the chances of failier, it is rarely profitable doing so.

Ability Extraction

An Ability Extractor allows you to extract the special abilities from type A Weapons and shields(Vampire, Wind and so on). Take your weapon along with an Ability Extractor, a Restoration Talic to the Hero NPC and use the Item Combination window.

• Depending on the items level you will get a different number of PIMs (Purple Item Modifier)

Ability Combining

Ability combining allows you to turn a normal(white) weapon, into type A weapons using PIMs extracted from other weapons or shields. Different abilities require different Talics, a list of Talics and their uses can be found here.

Booty Items

Booty items can be broken down into lower rank Booty items, for example Jem Riar can be broken down in Riar. This is extremely usefull for Specialists who use them for crafting ammo, armor and weapons.

To break down booty items, you must first aquire some Hammers, these can normally be found at the Sunderies NPC. Takes these along with the Booty item of your choice to the Hero NPC. Using the Item Combination avalible from the Hero NPC, place 10 Hammers along with 10 of the same Booty item into the combiner and activate.

• Booty item breakdown has a 100% success rate and cannot fail.
• Breaking down booty items produces anywhere upto 50 of the lower rank Booty item. (On rare occasions returns as high as 60 have been seen)

• Unfortunately it is not currently possible to put more than 10 into the Item Combiner at the Hero NPC
